I don't get an error that the video card is not supported, but it does have
an Intel integrated 915...the "incompatible" list has Intel's up to the 815
as not supported. Is it possible that this is my problem but ZT-2 just isn't
"smart enough" to know the 915 isn't supported?

Getting really slow performance, and problems drawing the animals....

All other specs are wonderful - 128 meg video ram, P4 procesor, 512 meg of
ram, etc. (new Acer laptop, just don't have the model number handy....

Thanks -

Actually, laptop now days are becoming more and more suitable for gaming. Alienware came out with an external video card option on their laptops some time ago and more and more companies are seeing the benifit and following suit. But I do agree that most laptops are still not suitable for games. I have a custom made laptop from Asus and it games better then half of my friends desktop computers.

Hello,
Laptops are not designed for real gaming. They have much on-board.
The name of the card say it (Intel integrated 915). It is integrated =on-board video. Intel video card have more problems with play games, then Radeon or NVidia videocards. Try install and run the game on another same laptop for checking. If getting the same error then install and run on another PC or laptop with a different hardware content.
The system requirements for the game are ok.

System Requirements (Windows 98SE/2000/ME/XP, Multimedia PC, 733 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM, 900 MB free HD space, Quad-speed or higher CD-ROM drive, 16 MB 3D DirectX9.0 or later, optional Internet access)
