I don't know why this happens to not just Zoo Tycoon but other software as
well. I've run into this on a couple occasions and it drives me nuts but I
have found a solution (well, kinda). Sometimes if you have 2 cd roms and
only one hard drive this will happen if you do not use the slave spot on IDE
cable 1. So your HD would be hooked up to an IDE cable all by itself with no
slave and then your other 2 cd roms are on the other IDE cable. I can't
explain this because it really makes no since at all, but that's the only
thing that I change and all of a sudden it will work. I've worked on a ton
of computers and I've only seen this situation a few times but it's enough
to drive me nuts. Well I hope that helps, if not then just pull a cd rom
from another computer, hook it up, and then try that. I doubt that it would
be the cd rom itself since it IS reading the cd but hey, what do ya do.
