I installed Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection for my son. When I try to open
it, the screen goes black. I get a message that this software requires a
current Indeo codec. I am referred to the website for Indeo and told to
obtain a current driver at that site. That site has extensive explanations
on how Microsoft has made changes that now requires consumers to pay $15 for
a download to fix the issue. However, that company can not guarantee that I
need that download or that it will fix my problem. Their site refers me to
Microsoft. I feel I am getting a run around and that my son just wasted his
hard earned money on yet another software that is a rip off. Someone please
tell me I'm wrong and there is a simple fix for this. By the way, my
operating system is XP Home Service Pack 2.
Here is link to the page with explanation:

Geez. Do I sense sarcasm? I searched this site before posting my message.
Guess I just went the wrong direction in this maze of a website. Thanks for
the link. I'll give it a try.
